Sec 3 Camp 2014

Helloooo!! I'm finally back from Gunung Ledang, Mount Ophir where my campsite is. This year camp was so so so MUCH better than last year as the activities were much more exciting and fun, but not when you get lots of mosquitoes bites!!

As per normal, we sat down for morning assembly by 7.20am and then did some briefing before heading to Malaysia. While waiting for further instructions, I just had to snap some pictures so that I can do this post. :')

Day 1

Meanwhile, the guys on the bus...

After 30-45 minutes of bus ride, we reached the Singapore's custom and then got our fingerprint scanned.This was maybe the worst thing for me as I was stuck at there and need to re-scan my fingerprint at the counter... :@ Soon after, we reached the Malaysia's custom and after we stamped our passports and got our bags scanned, we went up to another bus and continued our trip to Malaysia!

And yes...again.

So.. we finally reached the campsite after 3-4 hours of ride!! YAY! 

First, we had our lunch and then we started our first activity which was stream race- a difficult challenge as we had to swing over to the other side without dropping into the 'pool' and also do something like bouldering. Next, it was the conservation activity which we helped to plant soursop and then we have a race against time activity which we have to carry tyres and go through the obstacles as a team. Lastly, we played a night activity as known as blind men challenge which we would be blinded with our clothes,and then we have to trust our classmates as we walk around with the help of the instructors. And... it was the end of day 1! I  really enjoyed myself and also, I love the beds over there because we got to sleep on mattresses and pillows!!

Day 2

To start our morning, we had waterfall trekking. It was a really tiring activity as we had to walk/climb up the steep roads and stairs! But still, we managed to did it with the help of our classmates and instructors' motivations :)  The scenery and lighting there were really nice and good so I just had to...

Finally... THE WATERFALL!

We also played in the water at the top of the mountain. This was the most tiring yet fun thing I have ever did! The sense of accomplishment after reaching the top!! *PROUD* Then we went down the mountain after playing for 10-15 minutes and thanks to our form teacher for treating us ice creams after the super super SUPER tiring activity under the scorching sun.

The other activities we did after that were team building games, paintball and jungle survival. The paintball activity was another highlight of the day as it was a super exciting game HAHAHA!! I also like the jungle survival activity as we did field cooking and also learnt how to set up a fire.The next highlight was CAMPFIRE. We performed a cheer then a song (Burn- Ellie Goulding) and end of with a billi banja!! That's how I ended my second day of camp!

I really had a fruitful time with my classmates and teachers/instructors! Thank you guys for everything especially the food that the guys gave in the bus HAHAHA ^.^ This concludes my 2014 camp yayyyy ~

Another short getaway.

Hello everyone. So, I went out with mum and sis just now to shop around at Jurong East area.

First, we accompanied sis to do her meet up with some buyers and then, went to collect her Green Tea kitkat and Tokyo Banana which tastes like banana (obviously) and the cake is really soft on the outside and creamy in the inside.

After that, we had our lunch at Burger King! I really prefer J.E.M's burger king as it has a more relaxed ambience than most of the other outlets. Me and sis ordered the Spicy BK chicken & crisp, while my mum ordered the Tender grill chicken. 

Then, we went to shop at Robinson where I took my outfit of the day and posted it on my instagram (@ngiamkaiwen). The clothes there were really expensive and it's not my style so ya..

And, I finally get to try Baskin Robbins' ice cream!! I bought the Hokey Pokey favourite and it is really sweet and delicious with those honeycomb crunch inside it. But still, it was kind of pricey for this small cup of ice cream :'(

Next,we went to Typo at Westgate and bought new phone covers and some other things. I finally got a new phone cover after using my clear cover for quite awhile. I bought the 'I am a Tiger, Hear me roar' cat casing, while sis bought the 'For fox sake' fox casing yay! :) #happygirl99&97. My sis also bought macarons from Pique Nique at Jcube.

After a long day of eating and shopping, we finally went back to Jurong point. I went to Etude House and got some masks for myself and sis and mum. I will be doing a blog post about the items I got after I use them real soon. So.. WAIT! :))
SIGH... it's MONDAY tomorrow which means boring school day again :( But whatever, I had a great Sundate with them today hehehe... That's all for now!
