Best of 2013 + 2014 Wishlist

Hello lovelies! 2013 is coming to an end real soon so I have decided to take a look back and reflect upon all the things I have done this year and realised that 2013 can probably be the best yet the worst year for me as there were a lot of disappointments, friendship problems and many other things. But, the best thing was still knowing that my best friends and family are always there for me :') and I can't change the fact that I did change a lot this year.

Let's take a look back starting from the start of this year...

Chalet.

Jogging day.

First USS trip with best friends.

 USS trip with XueLi

Halloween.

Skyride for the first time.

A date with my favourite people.

Museum.

USS with sis.

Dinner with family.

Christmas season.

This concludes my best moments of 2013. Moving on, I have also decided to do a wishlist for myself, so that I can work towards the things I want/need by the end of 2014! :)

My wishlist for 2014:

  • Own a dslr camera
  • To be happy and healthy
  • Grow some fats (please)
  • Make 2014 a fruitful year

Festive enough?

Hey people!!!
Mom cooked glutinous rice balls as it was The Dong Zhi Festival yesterday. Then, we went to the temple and also, my godmother's house.
Took my #ootd over there because the background was beautiful and has good lighting?!? (idk why, but it looks like I am plowing lol)

After that, we went to Muji at J.E.M to buy some books to stamp with those Christmas stamps (UGLY because there were no big stamp (wordings), only small ones! SIGHPIE :( ) But, I still love the other festive stamps :D

Had Fish & Chips at Han's for dinner yay!! It was really yummu :P The fried rice over there is also very delicious ^~^

Sun-date with family + Cramp SUCKS

Hello lovelies!
So... I finally went to visit Westgate yesterday and something embarrassing and bad happened, but I still had a great Sunday afterwards.
When we reached the mall, me and my sister saw some really beautiful backgrounds, so we decided to take our #ootd there.

Then, we visited Royce' Chocolate and my sister bought a packet of mocha chocolate wafers which costs $15, but it was worth the price as the taste of the wafer is really delicious and yummy.

We also went to shop at Typo and walk around the mall... but then something bad happened to me! :(
So, it was the first day of my period and I was really having a super BAD cramp at that moment... Then, I felt really dizzy, my mind gone blank and my face was super pale, thus I sat on the floor to rest, but the cramp was like asdfghjkl SUPER PAIN... many people was like staring at me and asking if I was alright etc! After that, the staffs at Westgate came and helped me! They were really kind and nice (love them) , they bought a wheelchair and pushed me up to their staff room and let me rested over there. :') By the way, there was this guy who asked me if I need an ambulance or a paramedic LOL!!! (damn funny but cute haha)
I rested at there with my mum and sister, while my dad went to buy the panadol menstrual pills for me. I was really thankful to have them as my family although my dad was kind of pissed off with me (whatever) and also a really big THANK YOU to the Westgate staffs!!! :D

After a while, I was feeling so much better, so I went out the staff room and continue to shop with my cramps (it's NEVER easy to be a girl...). Although, this was a very embarrassing situation, I was still glad to know that there are still people who care and concern about others even though they are just strangers. :')

Then, my sister went to get her free cotton candy and we went to have our dinner at Lenas, MOF at Jem afterwards!! (YAY! great food after a super bad cramp :p) Thanks sis for the delicious dinner :*

The place was really nice and cosy and it is a good place to take pictures!! Hehe..
and our food/drink finally arrived yay!!!

Oreo Coffee Frappe
Marshmallow + Strawberry with brownie and tiramisu ice cream!
Grilled Dory Ome Rice
Shrimp Pasta Spaghetti
Hawaiian Pizza

So.. this concludes my short Sun-date with my family although a bad thing happened! #unluckyorlucky
and I want to recommend two songs for you all to listen!
Katie Sky - Paradise
Taylor Mathews - Head Over Feeling

Okay bye, xoxo! :*

The Body Shop Skin Care (Tea Tree Range)

Hello everyone!
I thought that I should try new skin care products to treat my blemishes, so I went to The Body Shop and headed straight to their Tea Tree section to pick up a few of their products that day.

As I have a sensitive and blemish-prone skin, I decided to try out the Tea Tree skin care essentials first.
I have been using these Tea Tree products for quite some times now and I am loving it a ton! Although the Tea Tree Range can be considered expensive, but I feel that it is worth the price as they really do help to reduce the appearance of blemishes within 3 days.

First, I have my favorite facial cleanser for now. This cleanser really helps to deep cleansed my face without over-drying the skin and it also removes excess sebum (oil) on the surface, which makes my face feels more refreshed and clean after that. The smell of the facial wash is kind of overwhelming for the first few times and it may sting my eyes/face, but it gets a little more gentle afterwards!

Next, I tone my face with the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. It is those kind of toner with mattifying powders settle at the bottom, so I have to 'shake to activate' them before using. This toner really tone my skin effectively and also removes traces of dirt, which leaves my skin looking matte. When applying this on my face, I did feel a cooling-mint effect, which I kind of don't like it at first and it does have a slight scent too. Probably the smell of Tea Tree?!?

Then, I treat my blemishes with the Tea Tree Oil. This oil is not oily at all and it dries up quickly when applied to my face, and it helps to clear my blemishes really quickly. It also has a scent similar to the cleanser and toner, but it was not that strong like the other products. I love everything about this product, but not for it's super tiny size and price!

Lastly, I moisturise my face with this lotion! I find it to be a nice, lightweight, overall treatment for my blemishes as it isn't too harsh for my sensitive skin. This product helps to absorb excess sebum (oil) and also control shine, which I find that it helps to shorten the life of any spot I have.

Tea Tree Skin Cleanser - $20.90
Tea Tree Clearing Toner - $22.90
Tea Tree Oil - $18.90
Tea Tree Lotion - $29.90

So there you have it! As you can see, their Tea Tree range is not the cheapest, but I think it's justifiable to spend a little more as you have only one face and everybody sees it! As Christmas is coming soon, The Body Shop is having a sales, so they are selling these products for the price of $59.90 instead of $92.60!
Hopefully this post has provided you with some insight into these products. If not, do check out The Body Shop (Tea Tree)

xoxo!
